Last 29th and 30th of April El Mas Ferrer attended the National Assembly of Navarra, organised by the Union of Spanish Sommelier Associations. The event took place at the Hotel Don Carlos (Huarte). The aim of the event was for different wineries to make themselves known to the best sommeliers in the country.

At the same time, activities and events were held to promote tourism, gastronomy and the wines of Navarre and other sectors. A Showroom was held, open to hoteliers, professionals and food and wine lovers. We would like to point out that most of the stalls in the Showroom were wine stalls. We were the only ones with cava. The sommeliers were passing by and tasting the different varieties and giving us their point of view to help us improve.

We were also able to enjoy a training session and a tasting led by the oenologist Pilar García Granero, member of the Association of Sommeliers of Navarra. One of the highlights was the pairing of cava with Italian caviar, an excellent combination that everyone should try once in a lifetime.

The event was attended by some 30 sommelier associations, of which there were 60 sommeliers representing them. About 70 attendees, including restaurateurs, professionals and food and wine lovers. And about thirty stands of different wineries.

From El Mas Ferrer we would like to congratulate the Association of Sommeliers of Navarra for the good organization and for the realization of events like this, which allow us to know the diversity of this small but beautiful world of gastronomy and wine. And sometimes to bring them together so that the explosion of flavors is even greater.

We do not want to forget to thank all the people who passed by our stand, tasted the Cava and gave us their vote of confidence to make these days a learning experience and make this evening an incredible one. We hope to be able to repeat next year, thank you very much!
