Caves El Mas Ferrer is a family-owned business located in the small village of Ca l’Avi, within the municipality of Subirats, the largest in the Alt Penedès region. Our winemaking history is rich and deep, rooted in tradition and a passion for producing quality cava.

The origins of our winery date back to 1863, when our great-grandfather, Miquel Ferrer i Jover, began cultivating vineyards with great experience and dedication. His wisdom and love for the land laid the foundations for what we know today as Caves El Mas Ferrer.

Starting in 1974, the Ferrer family decided to take their passion a step further by producing the first bottles of cava in our cellars, following the traditional method. This moment marked the beginning of a new stage, where we began to perfect the art of cava making, always maintaining tradition and quality as fundamental pillars.

The year 1987 was a key year for our family, as we founded the family business El Mas Ferrer with the aim of marketing our cava. Since then, we have crafted our cava in an artisanal manner, using fruit from the vineyards of Penedès. This decision allowed our brand to grow and consolidate, offering our customers an authentic and quality product.

Over the years, we have maintained our commitment to tradition while incorporating innovations and modern techniques to ensure that every bottle of cava that leaves our cellars is an expression of our dedication and passion for wine. Each glass of cava represents the history, effort, and love that our family has dedicated to this art over generations.

We are pleased to announce that we have launched a new line of younger products under the brand Ferrer & Mata. This new line reflects our commitment to innovation and quality, and we are excited to share it with all of you.
